Spokane Convention Center- Spokane, WA

• 1.       C.C. will allow bottled water to be brought in but no outside food will be allowed. Concessions will be available.
• 2.       No coolers or bins will be allowed.
• 3.       Water only in the playing area.
• 4.       Parking will be $5, with no in/out privileges.
• 5.       The Convention Center has no oversized vehicle parking.
• 6.       Team areas will be located in the promenade.

Eastern Washington University (EWU) - Cheney, WA

• 1.      Outside food and coolers are allowed at EWU...just no plug-in devices.
• 2.      There will be team areas marked off and we ask that teams keep their things inside these areas in order to keep walkways clear.
• 3. Parking will be allowed in Lot 12 during the entire tournament. Parking is only allowed in Lot 9 on Saturday and Sunday! DO NOT PARK IN LOT 9 on Friday or you may get a ticket. If you use a meter, make sure to plug it in accordance with the times marked on the meter.

REGISTRATION / LODGING

FORMAT

This tournament is one of USA Volleyball's national qualifying tournaments and is governed by the rules set forth by them. (You can download the Qualifier Manual below.) It is a mandated 3-day tournament. If your team cannot play all three days, then do not enter this tournament. Club division teams will be placed in a morning or afternoon wave for two days of pool play with all teams advancing to single-elimination playoffs on the third day. Open division teams will also be in a morning wave, followed by playoffs. There may be cross-matches or challenge games following pool play, so please make sure to check with tournament staff prior to leaving your playing site! Since we cannot determine where a team will finish or how late a team will finish on Sunday, teams should plan to not travel until the evening, especially those teams traveling by plane. No match is scheduled later than 3 pm on the third day of your team's tournament.

IMPACT CERTIFICATION & REFEREE/SCOREKEEPER CERTIFICATION

AT LEAST ONE coach must be IMPACT certified in order for the team to be able to participate in this or any other National Qualifier. If a team does not have a coach who is IMPACT certified, the team will be disqualified.

All teams MUST provide a certified scorekeeper and R2 (down official), and two linespersons for each match that they officiate.

A reminder: during a team's officiating duties, a coach listed on their roster MUST BE COURTSIDE during the entire match.

All coaches should be carrying a copy of their team's roster (with all USAV #'s) and medical release forms for ALL players. Coaches (or the adult designated to check in the team) will be asked for these items upon checking in, so please have all items available. Coaches will also need to verify and sign the roster that was submitted and verify referee/scorekeeper certification for their players. ALL USAV #'s ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE. IF A TEAM DOES NOT HAVE THEIR USAV #'s OR A LETTER FROM THEIR REGION CONFIRMING MEMBERSHIP, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY! If a club director/assistant coach is checking in for a team, he/she MUST have these items. Check-in will be done by age-division.
